About
You have a tonne of options when it comes to recording and mixing heavy music, and not all of them are equal.
The problem is finding someone who ‘gets’ heavy music and is coming from the same place, especially as there are so many different styles of heavy music.
If your music is heavy and natural, from sludge metal to thrash, the drums destroy, the riffs are relentless, the bass is grinding, the vocals rip over the top, and there’s a healthy amount of dynamics to keep things interesting, I’m 100% onboard.
My number one goal is to help you bring your ideas and hard work together so that heavy music fans will be blown away by your recorded music in the same way they are when you play live and feel the same energy.
About me
I’m Adrian Griffin and my specialty is heavy music, predominantly genres where the focus is on capturing as much of the live sound as possible using organic sounds and human performances.
I’ve been playing in bands since the 90s and have toured extensively all over Australia, Europe and Japan, playing everything from tiny floor shows, to massive outdoor festivals and everything in between.
I’ve also been heavily involved in all areas of music with many different bands and artists from songwriting to audio production, recording and mixing, to music video production, music promotion, record labels and more.
